And on this Veteran's Day ...

... my mind is on Brian, who was just sent to Afghanistan last month, and Keith, who will be deployed to Iraq next month. 

I don't know the proper security protocol here, whether I can include their full names or ranks or branches of the armed forces.  So just know that Brian and Keith mean a lot to me and a lot to people I love very much.  And there's a lot of conflicting thoughts and emotions I have about their departures.

With that, I'm going to simply send happy thoughts for a better day.  And a care package when I get off my lazy butt.
