A fine day for a parade ...

I spent the morning and early afternoon celebrating the Giants' World Series win alongside thousands of fans on the streets of San Francisco.

I'll write about that more later (I hope) but I really must comment on the crowd estimations.  We arrived back at work to watch the Civic Center ceremony on television, and the commentators on the MLB channel were estimating the crowd between "100,000 and 1.5 million people."  Multiple times, with nary a snicker.  

Seriously, folks?  You can't bring the range together any more than that?
